We do this in two ways: (1) because these science projects are viewed by the public, we assist in providing display and safety inspections as part as part of the setup by the students, (2) the Chapter awards 2 students and their teachers for an outstanding safety-related project. This fun and educational experience is a great opportunity for you to volunteer and meet some wonderful young students. We are in need of inspectors to help out. The more inspectors we have the more enjoyable the event . Contact Robert Dunnington ( rdunning@unm.edu ) if you are not currently on the Display and Safety email list and are interested in volunteering at this fun and exciting event. The event will take place on March 26th, from 3-7pm. This year the event will be held at the State Fairgrounds in the Manuel Lujan Building, as it was last year.
